I used to hate everything considered mainstream when I was 5. This included the color pink. Now, I'm 18 with my favorite colors being black, pastel purple, and blush pink.

I might be insane but it’s interesting to me that people have favourite colours. Because how can you determine if one colour is “prettier” than another colour? If it is the same value or shade it is almost exactly the same to me in terms of emotional reaction, one is just colder if they are say, blue vs red.
But it’s different if you have a preference as to what colour you wear, because different complexions pair better with certain shades and colours than others. But any colour can be “pretty” in the right context, such as what it’s paired with and what exactly you are looking at that is that particular colour.
I’m thinking way too hard about this and I haven’t had a good nights sleep in a few weeks.
