What is Endorsement in Insurance and How to file it?

Endorsement in insurance refers to any change that you make to your policy after it has been issued.

If, for example, you feel the need to add coverage to your insurance policy any time during the policy period, you can do so with the help of an endorsement. Similarly if there are any errors in your policy, w.r.t to your business name, pin code, etc., you can rectify them through endorsement.

It is incredibly easy to request an endorsement at Verak. If you have purchased your policy through us, all you have to do is follow these steps :

Step 1: Send ‘Hi’ to the WhatsApp Chatbot or the Web Chatbot

Step 2: Send ‘5’ to the Chatbot to create an endorsement request

Step 3: Select the policy you want to make changes to

Step 4: Select what you want to change in your policy

Step 5: Type in the new information

Step 6: Endorsement request has been fully raised. You can now either exit chat, return to main menu, or request another change

Once these steps are completed, Verak’s representatives will take your request forward to the insurance company!
