Install Digital Wellbeing from Google Play

Install Activity Launcher from Google Play

Since you can't Launch Digital Wellbeing from the settings like on a device which comes preloaded with Digital Wellbeing, you can use Activity Launcher to do it for you.

Create a shortcut to this, and this will now let you access Digital Wellbeing and setup a Bedtime mode!

Gah, I'm rocking my 7 on stock 12.1 firmware, but felt like either switching to OP12 altogether or delay the purchase by some months, and I guess I found my solution to play with some more customization and features while waiting for the prices to drop :D Thanks, will definitely follow your install guide in the other video!

At time stamp 3:20: I installed Pixel Experience on my OP7T pro and this has been happening too. It drove me crazy, so I looked deeper into it:
When displaying stating content as it is happening here (especially with a black background), the phone seems to switch from 90 Hertz to 60 Hertz after exactly 5 seconds (I assume in order to save battery life).
This causes the shift in color / brightness.
I could replicate this error by simply pulling up similar content to yours: Settings, Comment section of YouTube, Website with static conent, .... The flicker occurs always after 5 seconds and touching the screen triggers the flicker again (presumably due to switching back to 90 Hertz refresh rate).

In the Pixel Experience, I could switch the "minimum refresh rate" from 60 Hertz to 90 Hertz which resolved the issue so that the refresh rate will not be lowered and stays at a constant 90 Hertz even when displaying static content. I assume that this helps here also.

I'm still using my OnePlus 7t on Pixel Experience + as my daily driver based on one of your older videos. i think I'm gonna switch to crDroid now as PE as been k¡lled. Are you aware of any major downsides with crdroid when compared to PE? Love the videos, keep em coming :)

I've been using a Smasnug S Ultra series the last few generations and I'm so sick and tired of them removing features in One UI Updates that I'm going back to my 7 Pro, bought a battery and a nice new case for it and I can't wait for them to come in in a few days!

Out of curiosity, it seems like people have been having issues with original 7 Pros dying lately, like all of a sudden they just drop dead and won't show any signs of life, have you had any issues with your 7T Pro? Might get a 7T board and swap it into my 7

Did you have a problem after you sideloded the ota update on your phone? Im stuck at v10.5. My phone gets random reboots after sideload. I did a Clean install with msmtool but when im trying to format the file system isnt showing, only format on v10.7. if i choose "format" and follow the steps, the phone continues with random reboots. Weird. I use McLaren edition
