NASA EDGE: GOES R Series Product Manager

NASA EDGE talks with Dr. Jamese Sims about how scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are evaluating data and developing specific products to serve the meteorological community. GOES-S, (GOES 17 when operational with GOES 16) will provide the most comprehensive look at weather data from the West Coast of Africa to New Zealand, and as a result, more and more applications of weather data can now be generated.
