Richard Donner (born Richard Donald Schwartzberg),
was an American director and producer of film and television
and occasional comic-book writer.

He directed several tv shows in the 60's
including this famous episiode of the Twilight Zone -
"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet".

His break through movie was The Omen ,
a supernatural horror made in the wake
of the success of The Exorcist,
It became the fifth highest-grossing movie of 1976.

He's most famous for the first Superman Movie
and being fired on Superman 2, but got to edit
his version years later.

Richard Donner died on July 5, 2021.
He was 91
