Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 - Ride Review

The all-new Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 was unveiled last week in Barcelona, and today, those lucky enough to be on that ride, are finally allowed to tell you exactly what they thought of it...

Gareth Charlton got the gig for BSMC, and by all accounts, had a hell of a time tearing through the mountains on this striking machine. UItilising the acclaimed Sherpa engine and frame from the Himalayan, this all-new, All-Roadster package sports 17' wheels front and rear, while the engine boasts boasts 40PS and 40Nm of torque. With striking modern styling and eye-popping graphics, this is certainly one Guerilla not hiding in the shadows!

This is gonna sell very well in my opinion. Overall a great looking machine. Rode the new Himi and this should be similar at least according tot he engine. :) Nice video. Enjoyed.

Love that RE is getting love from every corner of the world. But the only that slightly upsets me is the fact that this was a company started by British and manufactured in the UK and India and was later bought and owned by an Indian. Hence it being an Indian company NOW, was started as a British company and much popularity and fame and quality was brought by the British ealrier.

If it was started by an Indian from the beginning then there was an extra point to be more proud of it. Nevertheless we are still very very proud of RE as an Indian manufacturer and the products doong well all over the world. Well done RE, well done India.

The Indian manufacturers seem to have a lock on the smaller displacement “beginner” bikes that really can appeal to the experts and the retreads.
I’m 71 this year and I want to replace my ‘03 FZ1 with either a Speed 400, or now this, the Guerrilla 450.
How about a head-to-head comparison?

love the reviews coming out of the launch, but it would be nice to see the different colours...all the reviews show the same bike, it would be nice if each of the reviews featured a different colour of bike

Nice to see some competition for the triumph and ktm, for example. The engine and handling is pretty good by the sound of it. However, i think the styling is a little muddled, would probably have the triumph, for that reason, just my personal opinion. Thanks for the video.
