You mentioned this might be designed for maybe 🤔 a certain group (age) . I just turned 71 and love the styling and colors of this bike., especially the black, yellow, and purple one. This should be another winner for RE. 👍👍

A Royal Enfield with 40bhp. Exactly what I wanted from my 2018 Classic 500.

‘Youngsters’ ‘beginners’ ‘ a little single’ ‘child’s play’ ‘A2compliant’ - moto journalists make me laugh, I bet there will be many, many buyers of these bikes who experienced, fully licensed mature riders. Try to leave the pejorative out of the reviews, otherwise thanks for the video.

CEAT tyres… "A relatively unknown brand in Europe"?…
You make me feel old (OK… I am old), but I can remember CEAT as a respected Italian tyre brand, though they're now made in India (nothing wrong with rubber from India. They grow the stuff🤣)… in fact CEAT opened their first factory in India in the late fifties (only a few years after Royal Enfield opened their Indian plant).
Time to bone up on your history, I guess.

I love that colorway. Wish this is what the Scram would have been from the get-go.

Nice job ! Str8 to the points, no fuss, no B.S commentary.
This is one of the reasons I prefer Euro testers and their works to our USA counterparts.
If someone ever thought the Hunter 350 was too little, too weak . . . BAM ! Here's your answer and for what seems like a fair amount considering the MSRP of all other players in the segment.

I’m with you on the rear lighting (1300gs), no stand alone rear brake light ?, I don’t know how that’s even legal in the UK. A lot of today’s cars have tiny led indicators that get lost when the brake lights come on and now sadly bikes are going the same way, dented rear end for the car and we all know the consequences for a biker. Great review, no BS just very informative 👍

Bike that really interests me is the 650 Scrambler which reminds me a lot of my 1982 Triumph Tiger Trail 750.

Tough to choose between this and the Triumph Speed 400 - the heart says 'Triumph' but the head says the RE with GPS and centre stand. Can't wait for the rivals video, bring it on!!!!

I'm 69..been riding since I was 15..I've bought well north of 35 "brand new" bikes of all flavors, including 7 new Harleys..I've ridden close to a half million miles...I presently own several bikes, including a new klr 650 advrnture (my 8th klr) and one of my favorites is my new '24 yamaha xt 250...I ride for pleasure, finding absolutely no need to impress anyone with whatever I choose to ride....Far too often I find these utube (self described pros) pressing the idea that a smaller displacement means a "beginner" model...Foolish jibberish at displacements offer a plethora of riding experiences for riders of all levels of experience.
Don't fall for the silly rhetoric that small displacement means entry level could be more deceiving in the world of motorcycling...Good roads people!

Thats a nice looking bike. I could own one of those, and I've never owned a RE.

Ceat is a very reliable and old established brand in India, not just on the dry roads but also performs excellent in th heavy Indian monsoon rains.

Great review. Very engaging and does justice to the bike.

Bike is on the heavy side ...so RE engineers figured down size the fuel tank to 11 litres may help... 🤔 mmmm. I understand it's also vibes a bit too much?

Cracking video Dan! Thanks. Can’t wait to see in real life, and that color (black, yellow, purple logo) is epic!

I wish the tester would give some personal details so one can assess what the riding position would be for one self. Inside leg and height measurement is useful to gauge a riding position. Looking at the tester his knee angle is what I consider too sharp for me. If he is only 5'10" then at 6'1" my ankles would be touching the back of my ears. With a gammy knee this bike would be totally unsuitable for me although I do like the specs. This not just MCN but other reviewers of any bike also don't mention this aspect. Seat height is not the sole indication of knee angle.
