The MacBook is very very impressive. Even if I am watching 4k videos, it remain functional and no performance drop at all. Super super impressive, worthy of an investment I would say!

would be nice to see half as many tabs open but after opening them keep using the computer for a day or two without turning it off and then see if it's snappy or lagging. the longer a browser and OS stay on they may take more memory even if you suddenly close all but 1 tab, probably due to tiny memory leaks accumulating. please reply if you would do this.

Currently I have 78 chrome tabs opened + bunch of word files + excels opened in an i5 8gb with 512 SSD Dell laptop (5 years old)

my use case is to run OBS alongside 10 chrome tabs running 24*7.
is this macbook m1 air base model suitable for me ?
1) Am i going to regret not having fans sometimes in future ?
2) is this 8 gig ram enough to handle these 10-15 tabs with OBS without burning my thighs/Lap while planning to use this for Long Hours..

i really don't have any other use case otherthan those 10-15 chrome tabs and obs studio... running 24*7 - 24*6

Try switching between the tabs and watch it go to shit
