Úna Keane :: Hollow

'Hollow' is the first single to be released from 'Collaborations', a Live Album recorded at The Pepper Canister Church Dublin on March 5th 2020 (a week before lockdown due to Covid 19). Improvised as a collaborative piece on the night it was co-created by Liam Ó'Maonlaí (voice, tin whistle), Stephen Shannon (electronics), Lōwli (piano), Gareth Quinn Redmond (violin), Ronán Conroy (organ) and Úna Keane (piano). Recorded, mixed & mastered by Adam KJ. Co-produced by Úna & Adam.

The theme behind this song is Winter, the hollowing out. The film footage was collated and edited by Úna to score to the music (it's usually the other way round..). Archive film footage depicting winter scenes from the natural world in 1970s North America. Special thanks to the Prelinger Archive in San Francisco for the use of this film footage
