There are many libraries for creating plots in Python. But matplotlib is the most popular and the main library for creating plots.

The reason being the other libraries including pandas, including Seabourn, all these other libraries use matplotlib as the backend to create their own plots. Now, matplotlib has been around for quite a while it was first created by john D hunter back in the year 2003 itself.

So many of the code that you will see in Python related to creating plots have been written using matplotlib. And it is quite versatile, you can create any type of plot that you want.

And if you're working in data or data analysis, machine learning and such, knowing matplotlib is almost unnecessary skill that you need to have.

So in this one, you will understand the principles of making a plot and matplotlib we will be creating a full featured plot. And in that process, you will understand what are the different components that go into creating that full featured plot.
