The City has no choice. Not disband but terminate those involved and sign a temporary contract with the County Sheriff for patrol and investigative duties. Re-establish and re-train a newly revitalized police department. You cannot simply discipline the officers involved.

Alot needs to happen. First, all of the officers that have been caught needs to be fired and lose their accreditation once it is proven. They should never be able to work in law enforcement again. The agency needs to be stripped of any authority and the Federal Government needs to Step in. All citations, arrest, and cases need to be dropped, dismissed, and reevaluated. And Civilian oversight should be implemented for the foreseeable future.

It should not be disband at all, they should use them as an example of those 45 officers and decertified them all while the remaining ones get demoted to the lowest position without the possibility of promotion, if they screw up in any small way then replace them without their benefits…

The current DA and Judge including police chief should be removed from office. If all of this was going even for a year says a lot about their judgement

First of all, HR administrators needs to be diversify and receive diversity & psychological training to identify the traits of racism during the hiring process. There should be a diversified force that does extensive back ground investigations on each individual being considered. Then and only then should a person even be considered being hired less the majority of parties agree and diversity training remain throughout their career.
