While it's great to recognize the intelligence of animals, we shouldn't determine the worth of another life based on how much they are like humans.

The important questions are: Can they feel? Are they aware? Do they suffer? The answer is of course, yes. We don't need to eat animals. All nutrients the human body needs to function can be obtained through plants (and bacteria for vitamin B12). It's 2015, we don't need to kill sentient beings for our food.

Friends not food, fantastic to hear Miley loves animals and cares for them as the precious little beings that they are. Vegans are healthier too, many elite athletes are vegan too, ie. Serena Williams, Patrick Baboumian the strongest man in Germany. Way to go Miley vegan for kindness to animals and much better health.
