It is ludicrous to write in a name instead of voting for the best option.

This is remarkably simple - in many states, you can write in a candidate or simply leave the Presidential box blank. That's what happened in Georgia. Republican voters overwhelmingly voted for the Republican leadership and simply refused to vote for a Presidential candidate...and Trump lost Georgia. Pompeo, Bolton, Kelley will do the same thing. Biden will get votes and Trump will simply NOT get votes.
