As a V2 owner, this video nails it. When I was in the market to replace my 848, I had my mind set on a V4S, until I rode the V2. As a rider who does most of my riding on the street, it has the perfect amount of power, while still having all of the fancy electronics of the V4. Perfect all around street bike IMO.

I just built the lego set for this bike so I basically own the real thing now

I bought a V2 last year...and I can tell that the heat...is very convenient for the Winter season ! ;-) Great option Ducati to include a heat system ! ;-)

I was crazy abt the Ducati v4 but ended up buying the v2 and I couldn’t be happier, beating cbrs, r1 left and right at track days

Yammie: "This thing is unmodifiable. It has like two parts available for it"
Jaret Campisi: Allow me to introduce myself

I disagree with the thought that “Ducati owners are going to judge you if you buy a V2” completely. As an owner of V2 since July, all I have received is compliments and praise from other motorcycle owners and Ducati owners. Several people have told me that I bought the right bike and they’re right. Having ridden a V4R it’s way to fast for the street and totally unusable.

I agree that there aren’t enough aftermarket parts available, but hopefully 2021 brings more of them.

Beautiful review guys, proud owner of a 2021 V4S. A part of me still wants the 2015 899 that was my first love.

I’m a 17 year old Squid and I got to sit on a Pinagale V4 R and I was shocked when I saw the size

I went from a '16 R1 (insanity on two wheels) to a 959....loved the 959 but sold it to pick up a V2. Briefly considered trading up to a V4, but after taking one for a test spin, it reminded me of my days on my R1 where the bike was trying it's best to kill me. The 959 and especially the V2, is the sweet spot, IMO. Ducatis are special, performance numbers aside....the cachet of the brand also has value.

The bike at 0:25 (w/ Ryan Reynolds) is most certainly a Ducati. It’s the Paul Smart 1000. It was a 2006 model year only special edition of their Sport Classic lineup.

The simple fact the V2 is a v-twin is pretty much the best reason to get it and pass on the V4. Ducati is known for their v-twins and nothing sounds like a big bore v-twin. The way v-twins put power down makes then beautiful to ride. I can’t speak on how a v4 feels but I love that Ducati stuck with the v-twin even though the have branched off in another direction

I had a ‘95 monster.
I think it had like 78 hp or something like that. It was fast AF.

200+ hp in a street bike is nuts.
Even 150hp seems like overkill.
I’ll take the v2.

0:25 looks like a Ducati to me (visibly confused)

I love it when a sport bike review critiques the pillion, lol. Let's face it, if you put your girl back there you really don't care much about her.

I’m not bothered by the crew saying I should’ve got the v4, I’m buying a v2 Bayliss for my birthday.mid life crisis at 46 or a big kid at heart.

This may have to be my next bike. I'm not a track guy but I bet this bike would be a lot of fun on the twisties here in WA. The comfort factor is a huge plus. Thanks guys. You're awesome
