In all honesty, making gravity heavier kinda backfired on him in a way. And apparently, that thwomp hit him so hard that Infinite actually was rethinking his life choices that led him to that moment, lmao.

the reason was because Infinite was making gravity more stronger, which is why nobody could move and felt like they could fall down. That made the thwomp more heavier and stronger, crushing Infinite.

The funniest part is that Infinite legit had an amazing idea for a quick victory (pinning down Bowser and then copying his giga-OPness), but his team is so dysfunctional that no one covered for him to the point where Eggman himself outright declared out loud the distraction plan.

The funny thing is, the lead animator, Moro, confirmed in a Q&A that Infinite didn't actually die to the Thwomp. He stood there underneath it, questioning his existence.
