Webinar Series | Brazil and Global Climate Governance: A Proposal for Building Climate Capacity in Brazil

Brazil’s Role in Climate Governance Webinar Series is directed to business professionals, senior government employees, graduate- level students, and others with some background knowledge on climate governance and public policies interested in a deep-dive into the Brazilian context.

These sessions, consisting of three webinars, will provide a high-level understanding about the critical climate role for Brazil. It is a country that could be a powerful force in global decarbonization efforts; on the other hand, if the wrong policies are put in place, Brazil may jeopardize the Paris Agreement target to limit the global temperature rise to 1.5ºC.

The three-part webinar series features the synergy between the academic expertise of the Columbia Climate School and the technical expertise and Brazil-focus of the Future Carbon Group and it is a partnership with the Columbia Global Centers | Rio de Janeiro.
