An intense night of Israeli air raids hit Baalbek, with residents calling it one of the most severe bombings since the conflict began. A building was destroyed, leaving debris and fires close to a hospital, forcing over 80 patients to be evacuated. The hospital suffered significant damage, including to its emergency ward and children’s section, with windows shattered and equipment damaged. Israeli strikes continued nearby, raising fears that this might signal a new phase of attacks in Baalbek.
