i would never use primogems to convert them into resin, at least not in this early development in the game, there's a lot to wait for, the 1 thing i would lvl up faster for, it's just the abyss...

I really don't like the character levelling system in this game, the level progression really depends on the EXP material cards (which is Mora expensive and you need to farm). While defeating enemies and completing a quest gives you a few, which is weird and unusual for an *RPG* genre.

Word of advice, DON’T just focus on 1 main character to invest in. Get a decent build on your dps (70/80 to 80/90)and then focus on anywhere between 2-3 supports to help boost your DPS dmg optimization. Your supports usually only need to be at 60/70 to be optimal (with some exceptions) as this unlocks their last ascension passive. Build a team around your DPS that boosts DPS dmg. For example, if you’re building Diluc, you probably want to build Xingqiu, Sucrose, and Bennett. If you’re building Kaeya, you’ll probably want Xiangling/Fischl and Diona/Bennett, depending on how you build him. This game really focuses on TEAMS, so if you can get and decently build the most versatile supports, you’ll be able to beat almost all the game’s content, including Spiral Abyss, even as F2P.

If you want the recommendations for best 4* supports to build, I almost always use any one of the following, even at AR56: Xingqiu (hydro application & off-field burst dmg), Bennett (heal+atk buff, basically a 5*), Sucrose (crowd control, TTDS atk buff, EM boost), Diona (shield+healing, C6 EM boost), Xiangling (pyro application, burst support, can be dps), and Fischl (off-field skill support, electro application).

For new players here's a better priority. Farm world boss until you reach ar 40 then move on to farm talent books until you reach ar 45. You are going to have a lot of exp books and mora from doing main quests/exploring/events. BUT, you should ONLY level up 2 characters to lvl 80 and their best talent to 8, that way you don't need to farm for mora or exp books. When you reach AR45, you want to boost your sub-dps to at least lvl 70 and your support to lvl 50 until you hit AR 50 by farming mora/exp books. If you built a good team you should be able to clear Abyss 12 even if you have 0 stars in 12-2 before hitting AR 50. When you hit AR 50 it's time to grind for artifacts.

Would not Sunday be the worst day to spend resin on material dungeons? As all 3 types of the drops from that dungeon all drop, but randomized. Meaning you are much more unlikely to get the drops you want, as it is not like all of the types drop every time you run the dungeon. Thus can be a huge waste of Resin.

This would be different if Genshin Impact was like any other game with this rotation system in which you could chose one of the three options on Sunday, instead of putting them all in the same run....

Selling artifacts not recommended, i did that but after that i struggled to level artifacts on more than one character

I don't know why my characters don't level up quick, I always hunt for enemies and fight bosses/camps but I cant seem to even get them to lvl.30 without using the books. Any tips? characters are currently around level 20-25
