It’s important what when Nespresso capsules are sent for recycling, the bags are filled and sealed correctly to reduce the chance of spillages while in transit.

To ensure your bag is perfectly sealed:
• Pour out any excess water from your machines used capsule holder and place the used capsules in your Podback recycling bag
• Please do not fill above the dotted line on the side of your bag
• Remove the air from your bag by folding the empty top section over the capsules
• To seal the bag, close the grip seal (zip lock), peel off the adhesive strip, and run your fingers the full width of the bag, pressing both sides together to ensure both seals are firmly closed

Totally agree, not happy with the new system. Can not print a label off, Post Office website says 'technical difficulties' and the other three options of returning pods is not available to me in my area. It used to be an efficient hassle free service, now I am looking into another coffee machine where pods are available to buy in the supermarket, a lot easier all round I think. I understand there are a couple of brands that use recyclable pods.

The old system worked brilliantly but the new one is absolutely hopeless. It's hard to believe this has actually been tested. I've got 4 bags I'm going to have to put in the bin now instead of recycling. Not happy!

I've read the comments below and agree the new system fails at the first point. Royal Mail website just doesn't work. This is just a case of the bean counters at Nespresso trying to save on the collection cost. If you don't sort this out, two things will happen; firstly people will stop buying your coffee, secondly the coffee pods will end up in landfill because of a poor choice. You've removed a perfectly working system and replaced it with this nonsense. Please sort this out ASAP

The Post Office website keeps telling me to print an address which I have done repeatedly, it still tells me the same thing whatever I do. It's so frustrating. I printed one off a few days ago as I had two bags to return but made the mistake of printing the same one twice so the local post office refused one bag. I'm doing exactly the same as before but don't seem able to make any progress. I like the idea of using Nespresso capsules as I think it's the most eco friendly recycling system around but if I continue to find I'm unable to use the recycling method via Royal Mail I shall think again.

I'm having the same problem. I keep being referred to the Royal Mail website.

I totally agree with all these comments. Cannot print a label and all the information from Royal Mil just doesn't work. I am in a rural location and the pod collection service was seamless. I also am thinking I won't bother with ordering from Nespresso again.

Yes I agree, I organised twice to have my capsules picked up from my home as I’m disabled & cant easily get out. After waiting 5 months for them to pick it up from outside my front door (& constantly getting my kind neighbours knocking to tell me I had a parcel outside) a member of my family threw it in the normal rubbish which I desperately tried to avoid . I used to either have then collected the same day they delivered my coffee or many times we’d take them to John Lewis (which you can’t do now) I wish they’d sort it out !!

Totally agree. I am rural and don’t have a road name, no number just a house name and trying to get the system to accept is a nightmare

So easy to return the pods via Royal Mail. They were collected promptly and had no problem printing out the label. There was the option for the driver to provide a label as well.

I've recently moved house and am in a rural location. My postman is brilliant and I'm hoping he has the label to return my pods as I cannot find the facility on Nespresso to print a label which I've always been able to do until now.

The new recycling system using Royal Mail is a pain to use. You now have to individually place pick-up orders via their website for every bag you want collected, meaning I have to go through the process 4 times in this case, and if I get it wrong I am charged? This poor user experience causes frustration to the point that I am going to put the pods in the bin now.

Managed to figure out the new system for returns and took them to the post office, they printed off the labels and stuck them on no problem. When I arranged a collection for the next returns I went through the system for all 4 bags and selected for the post man to bring the labels. But on his arrival he didn’t know what to do I wasn’t in and he just left them and walked away so now I have to rebook when I’m in to ensure he takes them. Not very easy or convenient.

I totally agree regarding the Royal Mail service. It just does not work. You hit, "get your label" and nothing happens. Maybe its linked to their disastrous Fujitsu horizon system!

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!! Nespresso have messed up the recycling and the deliveries. Looking into alternatives now!

Can't get a code or label as it won't accept my address. Thought it was just me but clearly not...

Wasted an evening trying to follow Nespresso recycling guidelines for pods but kept getting directed to PO general webpage asking what I wanted to return and to which retailer. Agree with earlier comments. If this is meant to be saving Nespresso money it is certainly not improving customer satisfaction.

Still not able to print off a label, or even arrange a collection. Reading other comments I would suggest the problems are with the Post Office, but Nespresso don't seem to be able to come up with a better system. It's rubbish. Can't return more than one at a time, even if you can fathom out the system. I've currently got a bag festering in my garage which is likely to go to landfill very shortly.

I have spent hours trying to print a Royal Mail label for my Nespresso capsules with no joy. I chatted to a very lovely lady from Nespresso this am and she explained what i should do. Still doesn't work. I am please to read other folk have had problems at age 78 i could cry :(. my husband said put them in the recycling bin, not sure about that.
