 a guy stared at me while he was walking past. I looked at him and he kept staring straight into my eyes so i looked away. but at other times when I caught him he'd look away. why does he look away sometimes and at other times he keeps staring?

Like I was talking to someone and out of the corner of my eye I saw him staring at me so I looked at him. He kept on looking back right at me, for a prolonged time, like 2-3 secs. And his head was slowly turning too. But I looked away cause I'm awkward as shit
And it's so funny because I didn't even look the least bit presentable. I was wearing my usual lazy clothes.

this hot guy at work did this to me last wk! omg!! exactly like u said it! his eyes were wide open, eyebrows raised, mouth slightly open. his stare into my eyes was sustained, long, he seemed to be in a trance!! he was talking to another engineer but stared at me as i walked by him. he turned his whole body not just his head to me as i walked by. i think he even stopped talking. that stare was so compelling and made me feel special and liked by him. but thiz wk i just ignored him when he passed by my desk bec i dont want to be rejected by him :( or feel sad that he doesnt look at me anymore. i didnt give him a smile or anythung since we dont work together, our paths are so apart. do u think he forgot about me if he even felt anything? what can i do? i like him too much!! btw we have never been introduced or worked together :(

When I was younger, if I liked a girl, I looked once for a few seconds, then turn away. If I liked you, I would approach you and politely introduce myself. Simple as that. And I was 15 or 16 and skinny as a twig. Didn’t give a shit. Got older and it was all long term relationships until I settled down. I did not fear rejection. I lack that gene.

This is what happened to me at work. I was talking to an employee and he walked by and looked directly at me. I pretended not to notice, but not even a minute after walking past me, he turns back around and does it again. (Literally walked in between me and the other employee who was a short distance away.) And again, I pretended not to notice because i didnt want to make him feel awkward if i looked at him. And when im attracted to a guy, I'm too shy to look at him. haha Unless he only looked cuz i wore contacts for the first time and he noticed. I have been told I have pretty eyes. He's also opened the door for me and is really polite. Other than that, we haven't really talked to once another, but I'm working up the courage to tell him good morning. xD

I've just realized if a guy directly looks into your eyes and never takes them off, even when you're in a building and he's staring into the window, he wants you to acknowledge him and think about him afterwards. If anyone's wants to know, 2 guys that I like have done this to me already and it's a turn on. But I wish one of them could talk to me instead of just talking to his friends and stare at me and smile.
