I'm a fan of Mofftat. He actually didn't repeat storylines. He created The Silence, Weeping Angles, Vashta Nerada, Vortex Manipulator. If you hate Moffat then you can no longer say Timey Wimey and Don't Blink. He gave us great RTD era episodes like Girl in the Fireplace, Blink, and Silence in the Library/Forrest of the Dead on which RTD didn't touch a word of. Thank you, Moffat for doing things different and gave us a great Doctor in Smith.

My Mum just spent the last 10 minutes pondering how wickedly smart and creative you must be, Moffat, to come up with what we just watched. I completely agree with her. Thank you, Doctor, and thank you Steven Moffat, you've done brilliantly.

It is lovely that Steven Moffat says it has changed his life. Must be amazing to be part of it! And the Doctor touches so many around the world. Happy 50th Anniversary and here's to the next half-century!

Doctor Who changed Moffat's life, and Moffat changed Doctor Who

While I appreciate what RTD did for this show, I do think Moffat is a better showrunner. Yes Moffat has a tendency of solving plots through paradoxes and it's all a big ball of timey wimey, but RTD really likes getting Earth conquered every single year, and he uses the Daleks every year. Every year the Daleks would spend ages planning something, then the Doctor randomly stumbled upon the plan and somehow save the day everytime? That's a little underwhelming for the Doctor's greatest enemy. And don't get me started on Timelord Victorious.

To everyone who couldn't watch the newest BBC videos, this is the comment section for all 50th anniversary comments. My comment: I think the reason John Hurt regenerated was because his body thought that he had been injured as Gallifrey "burned" (since he forgot it survived). Plus, he was really old and weary after fighting in the Last Great Time War. #gallifrey

With all this talk about the number of regeneration and how many the doctor has, am I only person who remembers that David Tennant actually generated twice, once in the End of Time when he turned into Matt Smith, but also in Journey's End, although he didn't fully change his face, he still used a regeneration and all the energy required to do so as he simply channeled it into his hand. Can anyone explain why they don't count this, also the doctor has 13 regeneration's but this means there should technically be 14 of him, but if you count John Hurt and Tennants half regeneration then Peter Cpaldi should be the last doctor
