Thanksgiving Kids' Craft Mayflower Centerpiece

Watch as FamilyFun shows you this Thanksgiving kids' craft! This craft idea also doubles as a Thanksgiving centerpiece that your kids helped to create! You'll need a brown grocery sack, scissors, the templates, white paper, a pencil, crayons, a skewer, tape, Play-Doh, parchment, and crinkled packing paper. Use the template to trace and cut out the shape in the brown grocery sack, then cut them out with scissors. Decorate the sides of your ship. Fold these sides to form the Mayflower ship. Flatten the bottom, and trace and cut out two sails using the white paper. Add a message to them, and run the skewer to create a ship's mast. Tape a paper flag to the top. Insert the skewer into a ball of Play-Doh, which will sit in the bottom of the ship to help the sails stay right side up. Fill the ship with the crinkled packing paper for decoration. Cut out small squares of parchment paper to write thankful notes on and place inside of the ship. This Thanksgiving craft is easy to make, so let your kids get creative!
