The RS (gen 1 or 2) is only rated for a 2wd vehicle. The RS Gen 1 was rated to a 7.5t motor and the gen 2 to an 8.5t motor. I'm sure they beefed up the electronics from gen 1 to 2 as well.

The RS is available in a Gen 2, but does have a limit of 8.5t

Yep, without a problem. The RS Pro is rated down to a 2.5t motor. The RS Gen 2 can only handle an 8.5t, I believe, and not 4wd

Yeah, I'm not sure why the Gen 2 RS and RS Pro weren't released together. Maybe some technical difficulties!

You shouldn't need the gen 2, really you're just getting some bonus items with the gen 2 like data logging and the fan outlet that doubles as the hotwire outlet. I run the rs pro/gen2 7.5t in my b44.2 and it's a rocket! As long as you can handle the power of the 6.5t in the 2wd and not lose traction you're golden!

Btw the gen2 says that it has a brushless limit of 8.5T motors and it can't candle a 2.5T

If you want to run a 2.5t, you are pretty much limited to the RS Pro from Tekin (although, I'm sure there are other brands that can support)

There isn't a Gen 2 version of the RS Pro, yet

Ok thank you I read both of your reply's on both vids and i'm gonna run a rs pro get the hot wire and get the redline gen2 6.5t..will the gen 2 redline run good with the gen1 rs pro or do I need the rs and yes the motor is overkill for a 2wd but I drove lhs racer's b4.2 with a trackstar 6.5 from hobbywing with a tekin rs pro and he was running like 83% motor and was totally
