This looks like something that belongs in the VStrom or Tiger or any other high end Adventure motorcycles lineup the top brands have to offer. This is going to be sensational

Edit: People in the comments simply cannot enjoy a good motorcycle launch. The Triumph 400 twins are amazing but that has nothing to do with Himalayan because it is a different motorcycle in a different class.

Wow, looks badass . Already in love with my BS6 Himi. By the looks and specks perspective this one could be even better

Looks like the riders seat is variable height adjustment, judging by the slide-indentations at the rear of the petrol tank. Allowing for a larger customer spectrum.
Great work and presentation,
Big hugs from Germany

Wasn't really expecting this from RE. I was thinking that the engine unit will be a bigger one & the rest of the bike will the same with minor tweaks but I have to admit that RE has raised the bar. Everything looks to be put together well, can't wait for the full review!

The speedo console was operating at 60hz. If you tried to shoot the video at 60 fps(either in 4k or 1080) then the blinking would not have happened

I am so happy that the Desert-X design philosophy happened to the adventure motorcycle industry. The bulky, tall front sitting ahead of the slim, slender rear is just visually very satisfying.

Main problem with the previous Himalayan was the vibration and stability at high speeds.. I hope they have got it right with this one ❤

This is looking first class...it's much bigger than the current model. I hope RE won't discontinue the current Himalayan 411 though. But I couldn't spot the hazard light switch, I guess it would be present in this bike.

I am really really interested in this new Himalayan, I am on the verge of selling my current bike because of this. Rishaad's and Sagar's review will decide whether or not this will come home.

From being a harsh RE critic to an admirer now. Since the 650 wins, RE has been going bonkers with launches and improvements in their lineup. If I was in India, I would have definitely bought this one for my touring needs.

I don’t know if it’s just me but the tank is very tiger 800-esque

Looks fantastic! Seat height looks very accessible, suspension travel looks pretty long and the ground clearance looks quite high too. I like that it has a voltage readout as well as the option to view the temperature in Celsius!

I am having very high hopes for this bike, the last one I had high hopes was the 1st 650.

Looks more sleek and manageable now. Hope it dont weight not as much as current ones.
It's difficult to manage in off-road. Xpulse is way more easy to go on off-road.

The New Himalian will become a great success. All the other established brands, have got out of hand with nonsens 900 - 1300cc bikes.
The New 450 makes sense.
Good size, the right wheel size, decent fuel efficiency and enough power for everything.
I feel like Royal Enfield is the only brand that offers, what the whole Adventure world has been waiting for.
I think the tank looks a little strange.
Normally, I dont like black bikes, but with the golden wheels it looks cool.
I think Royal Enfield nailed it!🎉❤🇩🇰

Hey, Love the review and these first impressions are spot on. Like the character of the bike and really feels & looks so modern. Just one quick question about the seat height whether it will be practical for a short rider, can a 5'5 flat foot it or it can tip toe as well considering highway and city rides and not too much off-roading. Please let me know as i am looking forward to get my hands on this one.

Beautiful looking tank.. The screen looks crisp.. The sound of the engine is very modern.. Different than the current long stroke sound.. A brilliant leap forward by RE.. kudos.. Also, looking forward to your review..
