WordPress Redirect After Login By User Role, User Name, User Level & More

Unless you're using a plugin, the default WordPress redirect after login takes your logged in users to their profile in the WordPress admin dashboard, which is bad.

If you have a membership plugin or LMS setup then a logged in user will go to one of their account pages on the front end of the website, which is better.

Using the free plugin I'm going to show you today, you can redirect users to any page you like and you can redirect different user groups to different pages. Which is best.

Thanks Bjorn. I'm thinking this is a simpler method of adding "password protected information" access to the volunteers on a charity site I'm working on. I did see someone also use "Members" by Justin Tadlock to add new roles in addition to Peter's Login Redirect. Only issue I have is when I login as client to view the page there is a Dashboard link on the top left linking through to a reduced WP Dashboard with OceanWP, Elementor Overview panels. is any way to avoid/remove these?

I have created individual portal pages from my clients. So I want to redirect each to their page - which is can do. However, i'm worried about the secruity? If another user guesses the URL and are logged in, could they theoratically access someone elses page?

Hi Bjorn, If I am creating my header with the elementskit plugin and i created a button with the help of the plugin and i want to change the button text after login. For example -> before login it shows 'sign-in' and after login, it shows 'my account'. Also, i didn't want to change a link, just want to change a text. Can you please help me with this

Can we make a same login form for all, and once the user logged in, it will automatically redirected to their perspective user account ? (eg. if admin is logging, he should redirected to dashboard and if customer or subscriber is logging, then he should logged into his subscribers dashboard)

- 3 different membership on his website
- and they should see separate (private) pages after entering.
- and the man wants to see which pages these members are visiting.

Can I do these with wordpress plug-ins?
