She should have asked it to run a Google assistant routine instead, I really can't understand why the major features of the substituted can't be done by the substitute yet, personally I'm using Gemini just on a browser just because of this and I believe I'm not the only one, another possibility would be a way to have at least temporary both working at the same time even if we had to answer a prompt every time to choose which one should deal with what we intend to do atm, it would be better than having to make choices like

Gem. > Smarter but less funcional

Slower and doesn't seem to utilize voice to voice speech synthesis like the OpenAI implementation does.

Ok, this is definitely a step in the right direction! *BUT* the "soul"of the voice is still missing, something that openAI has captured beautifully with their new 4o chat mode (if it ever gets released!).

The tone isn't there yet either. But it's not horrible... it doesn't sound overly robotic, it just sounds like a person with virtually no personality. Emotions and personality are HUGE in vocal communication, otherwise the experience will seem too rote and robotic.

I'm looking forward to the next iteration(s). Hopefully some personality gets infused. Until then, I wouldn't even think about subscribing to use the chat feature.

4 major question categories. They focus so much on superfluous conversation features. Sure its cool and it sounds nice in a demo but I would prefer they focus more on practical utility. Lets get those 4 question categories expanded, empower the assitant to be more accurate and do more, specifically with the 4 highly practical question/task categories.
