The cop blatantly threatened to make an arrest but only had problems with being threatened with a lawsuit.

The local McDonald's employees received more training than this cop.

Are cops so ignorant about the most basic things of the law?

Bro used the own police tactics against them, “if you say I’m going to get arrested if I don’t give you my id, I’ll give you my id” 😂😂😂

I actually would have zero problem with an officer looking up a law if there not sure, doctors due the exact same thing as well

I think all officers should have to take Law classes in order to be a qualified candidate to become an active officer.
I'm a CPA and had to take 3 years of Law in order to just be able to put credits/debits in a book that helps manage people's money.
Why cops don't have to take ANY Law courses just blows me away 😒 How would they know the laws otherwise

There is nothing more american and awesome than a lawyer that loves standing toe to toe with law enforcement.

Student's right though. If a cop says, "I need to see your ID", that doesn't mean he ordered you to give it to him. He could have just as easily said, "I need to eat a sandwich", doesn't mean you have to make him one does it? Cops are trained to say things very specifically so as to make you think you're being ordered when you aren't, or to give up information when you don't have to. "Do you know why I pulled you over?" is just a way to get you to confess to things the officer may not have noticed for instance.
