Let's Talk the AH-1G Cobra in 60 Seconds or Less!

I wanted to do another one of these on a vehicle but figured I’d mix it up by doing it on the first attack helicopter! The Cobra has an important place in helicopter history, by being the first of its kind. In fairness, the Soviets were not far behind and were already concepting their design not long before the Cobra was in the prototype stage. Regardless, the AH1 was one of a kind at that time and did its role well. It did it so well that it forced the Army to give up on the AH-56 Program which in the long run led to the Advanced Attack Helicopter Program. This would lead to the adoption of the Apache and which would eventually replace the Cobra in US Army service.
