“Where are the boxes? Where are the boxes?” We need to know so we can “remove” said boxes should you wish to produce further evidence from those boxes.

I loved the Republican’s perceived gotcha moment when he thought he was “proving” that Cohen had committed an offence by not handing over everything to law enforcement. He was so proud of his Inspector Clouseau “proof” that he forgot to listen to the simple answer that the boxes had been removed by law enforcement and subsequently returned.

Then Foghorn Leghorn later tried to explain his repeatedly asking the same question whilst ignoring the answer by saying that Cohen is a liar and he thought if he asked over & over again he’d eventually get a different answer.

In fact all Republicans had was to repeat that Cohen had lied to Congress - which he’d admitted anyway. Not one question - just a stream of grandstanding for their audience of one.

Yes, Michael Cohen will serve time, and has to take his punishment. But I believe he is being truthful now and fully understands that he has finally done the right thing. He and his family can have some peace of mind and retain some dignity because of it. He will also be remembered in history for doing "the right thing" unlike his former boss who will continue to lie and be clueless and selfish until he draws his last breath. You hang in there, Michael.

I heard during the hearing a lot of national cartoonists were sketching a caricature of the GOP with a  "Liar! Liar! Pants on fire!" caption as a parody. Unfortunately all the cartoonists had to scrap that idea when it turned out that was the GOP's actual response.

Cohen deserves respect for coming clean. I hope his family supports him and understands the strength it took to do this.The Republicans tried so hard to prove he is a liar but he already owned it and is paying for it. They obviously couldn't defend Individual One simply because it is indefensible. Cohen was right that they are doing what he did in mindlessly trying to defend the president.
