Medical Coding Case Study - Evaluation and Management Walkthrough and Explanations for Beginners

I’m going to walk you through some E&M Case Studies. This is a tough concept but critical as E&M impacts almost every medical specialty. That means the majority of professional medical coders are going to have to face E&M at some point in their career. With the recent guideline changes, there’s still some confusion on how to apply the new guidelines to current records. But don’t worry, we’ll go over a couple examples.

This is a year ago, but I really like these. I love going through the case and breaking it down, it helps me a lot, even though I've been coding for a bit.

I know these are older videos, but I’d love more. Especially content on coding out entire cases. I am really struggling with knowing when to code procedures, test, labs, drugs, etc separately or not. Sometimes some of that is made pretty clear in the note, but not everything, and certainly not always. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I just passed my certification exam, but multiple choice and real world are completely different animals 😅 The struggle is real with E/M for me.
