Meeting Kaidan | Skyrim Special Edition (XBox One) - Part 1

Everyone, meet Kaidan!
So, while I love Skyrim, I can't stand how slow it can be at the very beginning. I equipped myself with a weapon, lockpicks, and gold so I could get to Kaidan faster since I have already completed his questline on my other profiles.

Also, if you guys have character names for this profile, I'd love to hear them. I use the name "Zelda" as a sample name until I can come up with something better😂

Hi I just want to say I love your video. And honestly I'm bummed out when I installed kaidan 2 since I never installed the first one so I just downloaded the second one and he doesn't even follow me out of the prison after I saved him. I just have few mods like 11 of them included a blood mage armor but still won't get him out.

Alright this is a little confusing. I have him on my Xbox but I don’t know if I have Kaidan version 1 or 2. When I got him he’s sitting down, not chain to the wall just sitting on the bed roll.

Wait? Is Kaidan supposed to be shackled like that when you meet him? Mine doesnt do that he be chilling near the exit of the prison or he just be roaming around skyrim. I was mod testing in a save and was in Windhelm and he was just wandering on the road lmao.

I'm having a huge a problem and I don't find the answers anywhere😢. So, I decided to start a new life mod and when I choose to leave the prison and meet Kaidan just right there, the game just don't have the chest with the prisoner belongs. Anybody knows what could be happening?

hello, i seems like encountering same problem as everyone else here, but dont understand how the fixing method work. im using vortex and kaidan is the newest mod i had, so in vortex when its enabled he's at the bottom of the list. but he still stuck on the prison and won't follow. i dont know what to do:(

I have never tried mods before, but I'm curious. How do you install mods on the Xbox 360? I have an Xbox One, but I don't have Skyrim for that yet. I'm just curious how mods are installed on console games.

@HiroKitty I'm having problems with kaidan 2 mod, instead of appearing chained he just sits on the sleeping roll . I only have kaidan 2 installed, how can I fix this ? Do I need to download more mods ?

*Is Kaidan in the special edition or is he a mod that you need to download?…because I want to try out playing Skyrim on my PS5 and I’m just curious if he’s on the game (another because -.-) I wanted to do his romance route?… so tips would be good on how to find him if he is in the game..!* 😅👌🏼🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi! I'm having problems with the Kaidan mod. For reference I'm on the Xbox Series X using the Anniversary edition.

So I downloaded Kaidan 2.1.1 and the Kaidan 2.1.1 Extension. Had them in my LO with nothing else like this:

Kaidan 2.1.1 Extension

I tried this mod out a few other times before but it never really wants to work. I can either leave the Abandoned Prison with him and there's no idle dialogue, or there is some idle dialogue but he won't leave with me. Also his dialogue will pause mid conversation and not continue on until I click A.

Is there any way I can fix these issues? I really wanna have him as my companion but I don't know what to do and I'm afraid of getting more bugs/glitches. :(
