The older Floyd Rose used to be setup that way with no blocks to lock the strings. I don't know why they changed that idea, but like you said. No more stupid blocks. No more strings popping out.

Thanks BLKJAKK for sharing this hardware for floyd rose type guitar bridge. I hope the shop sells this holds longer this hardware in their online shop. I know it's sucks and pain to get setup once perform where the string got snapped and cost few songs or longer song to set up properly unless a wealthy musician have a lot floyd rose bridge guitar for backup. Possibly the most useful guitar video I've watched all year, was about to throw away my Charvel and Jacksons because of the stupid Floyd Rose, but now they take 5 minutes to re-string. I can't thank you enough.

You should try to find a ibanez slt101 single locking bridge. Its basically the same thing as your floyd. I have one on a RG220b. I love it!

They're nicely engineered, but still a major pain to set up. Still waiting for a more user friendly design to flood the market.

That's dumb. If you break a string now you cant put it back in the bridge, lock it down, and keep playing .
