My theory: They were deeply in love until one day he had to go out to war. She was going to peacefully wait for him, but one day she over heard enemy talking about how they were going to sneak attack their base. She went to warn him but she was caught by the spies. They made a deal that they would hold the attack for 5 days giving her time to warn him because they pitted her. She trained and trained and then she attempted to sneak into the group of soldiers to save him but she was 4 minutes to late and watched him die. Soon she looked at the spy and he smirked, she realized they made the deal on a Sunday, it was Thursday.

Theory:

[girl] fell in love with [boy] and he fell in love with her as well. The boy was forbidden to date her but they didn’t listen and so that resulted in punishment of death. The female was heartbroken and the reason that it was forbidden was because another male had fell in love with her and was jealous of the boy and had made a deal with the female.


The deal: She was granted freedom and was not to fall in love with another otherwise it would cost her lovers life.

(Idk man, I made it up. Also, I am in love with this edit, I have watched it like 20 times now)

MY THEORY :

Ares and Haruka were secretly seeing eachother, but her father, the king, noticed, and decided to put an end to their relationship, as he thought that Ares should marry a pure blooded Royale. He entrusted Haruka to end the relationship and tell her the news, (as you see Haruka walking away as Ares is sobbing on her knees. A bit of time passes, and war, has reached the kingdom. Haruka, a knight, is sent to fight in the war, but Ares follows him in secret, hoping her love would be safe if she went and protected him. Time skip, and Haruka is deep in battle with another soldier, and as Ares loses her helmet, he sees her and stops fighting, giving enough time for the soldier to stab him in the gut. As she runs to him as he falls, the man in the suit appears. The man locks eyes with Ares, who is cradling Haruka’s head. The man had mysteriously appeared to her in the past, when she learned of the war. She had made a deal with him, as he had the power to send souls into the future to live in new bodies, though they would not remember their past. She knew, and Ares decided that she would find Haruka, even if she did not remember. Into the present, Ares is holding Haruka to her and the man, draws a knife and plunges it into her chest, and, his eyes glowing, sends them both into the future. TADA! Man that took some time.
