Thank you so much for this explanation! I was struggling with why my mic sounded so bad when clipped to my shirt but sounded great when hand holding it. It was because I had it on my collar which was way too close to my throat. Now I know to put it in the lower center of my chest 😅

Brother, thank you so much for providing real-world scenarios. I’ve watched countless videos on the Mic Mini tonight since I was leaning toward the Mic 2. All I wanted to know was whether my subjects could walk around objects while recording (I’m buying them for a professional documentary production).

I really wanted to see if, for example, my subjects enter another room while I’m still in the next room, the audio wouldn’t cut out or start acting weird. Have you ever had any issues with it?

I’m still considering the Mic 2 just to be safe and never have to worry about recordings messing up. Back in the day, I used to do $850 podcast sessions, and there were times when I had to tell a client, “Whoops! Sorry… no audio, ” when using the Saramonic UWMic9. Cringe.

What were the settings of your receiver outdoors and indoors btw?

I remember your earlier video where you talked about using a "necklace" which I find super helpful. Question - I haven't figured out how best to record in noisy environments (e.g., next to the ocean). I naturally tend to speak louder in those settings. I lowered the volume on my camera, but then I sound muffled. Is it better to lower the sound on the microphone (or even just remember to speak at my normal volume)? Thanks 🙏

I’m having audio issue when just on Bluetooth alone. Lots of cracking and popping. Not using the receiver just on Bluetooth. Guess I’ll have to use the receiver but not using the Mimo app
