Alpine Slide (On-ride HD POV) - Attitash Mountain Resort

The two Alpine Slides at Attitash Mountain Resort in New Hampshire have been thrilling riders for over 40 years. It's one of the longest alpine slide tracks in the world and it's a real thrill ride. Unlike alpine coasters (where the car is fixed to a track) these alpine slides involve a lot more skill and judgement as you can capsize or leave the track if you go too fast. Here is my ride down the alpine slide, filmed with the kind permission of the resort.

I went on this when I was but a wee chiddren. Had a blast with my bro and sis. Shocked it's still in operation. I can't imagine how much it must cost to maintain that things to the standard that no one gets hurt

I remember riding this like 15 years ago and the person in front of me was going so slow I got stuck behind them and someone flew around the corner behind me and hit me....then I got to the bottom and saw a guy with his arm tore open cos he flew off the edge. Epic!

One of the better alpine slides out there. Went on it and the ski lift up has a fantastic view of the mountains if you look back. I wish you could have that view on the slide NGL, but the slide is still super fun. Super painful if you mess up though. I flipped over and got a bunch of huge abrasions, the pain was horrible. Still worth it.

What a blast. We used to bring a thick sweatshirt up with us and put it on just before we went down if it was too warm. Jeans, no shorts. That eliminated the "road rash" or abrasions people mention.
We would also try to let people go ahead of us so kids and slow riders were not directly in front of us. Sometimes stop and jump off the track a little way down and let the riders get way ahead of us so we could fly !
We had our tricks. We were regular Alpine Slide experts. Almost no braking. 😳😂

Hell yah! I use to go on this all the time in the early 2000s. One time it started to rain and the brakes stopped working, so I put my legs out to slow down and got burned bad by the concrete! Friggin awesome, wish they still had this so I could take my kid on it!!! They have been closed for the last 2 years and I think they changed this over to a metal coaster now

I remember in like 2015 I rode this with my dad I was like 8 years old I didn’t know English so I bumped into my father so hard that I flew out of the sled but I was giggling what a memories 😅🤧

When I rode this the brakes flew off my coaster thing and I had to stop the thing with my hands/feet. Had to walk all the way down and they didn’t even refund me

somebody hit me when i was 7 because i actually slowed down when it told me too and i flew off the track and just laid there
