Canada election: Justin Trudeau remains prime minister, Liberal minority government projected

The Liberals, led by Justin Trudeau, will head back to Parliament for their third consecutive term as the governing party, but they’ll need to negotiate with at least one other party to pass any legislation while they’re in office.

Neither the Liberals or Conservatives were able to hit the 170-seat threshold needed for a majority government as polls were counted Monday night.

Some results were still not finalized due to mail-in ballots, but Global News is projecting that once all votes are counted, the Liberals will hold a plurality of seats in the House of Commons.

I thought Canada is a country of equality. Why my vote as a conservative worths less than Liberal? Why conservative votes are more but seats are so much fewer. I understand the election seats and such. But I totally feel unfair when votes are more but seats are fewer. You think this is fair and all Canadian citizen are treated equally?! I feel my rights are violated and feel less worthy to the country. This is clearly not equality to me.
