Knit Perfect Thumb Gussets for Fingerless Mitts / Mittens / Gloves

This is a tutorial for creating the thumb gusset for fingerless mitts, mittens and gloves, including how to avoid holes where the thumb meets the hand. You can use any size yarn for this mitt.
