Such a wonderful demonstration by the host proving exactly Kishore's observation about the arrogance of most Westerners and their condescending views on Asia.

The interview shows exactly the gap in intelligence between the two.

Keep it up, this is exactly the behaviour that is driving the decline of the collective West and the rise of Asia.

The kind of slanted questions asked by the host is an exhibition of a bias mind with invidious intent. I am so glad Kishore's intellect and eloquent response showed the host up for what he is. Keep up the good work Kishore!

The host's questions were steeped in stereotypes and bias on China, typical of the Anglo-Saxon West, directed at Kishore. With each question, I felt confident that Kishore would deliver the perfect response to set the record straight—and he did. I'm glad the host raised those questions, and I hope that both the host and any audience members who shared similar biases gained some new understanding.

Kishore, I support your view and not the western prejudice promoted by Alec Ash

The host should make a trip to Xinjiang in person to see for himself what's actually happening. The professor had repeated in many forums countless times regarding Xinjiang genocide. The host is making himself a fool.

Mr. Kishore tried so hard to get his message thru the host: your ignorance and arogance is EXACTLY why I wrote these books.

Not sure why a great intellectual like Kishore Mahbubani would waste his time with a clearly biased "China Books Review, " but he can deal with such people easily enough.

The host's question is a completely unoriginal Western stereotype of China. He should visit China more often.

so much ignorance and arrogance from this myopic host.

Why shouldn't China have influence in Asia? It historically has, and only the era of Western colonialism paused that. China has historically pursued that influence by diplomacy and trade, not militarism, and continues to do so today.

Despite its name, the Asia Society is not really Asian. It is a bunch of Westerners who happen to be in Asia, viewing it though Western lenses. It really ought to change its name. In the 1800s, when a Brit referred to an Indian, he was not talking about the brown skinned guy speaking Hindi, he was referring to Brits born in India. The term "Indian" was used to differentiate such people from the more esteemed ones who were from the British Isles. The brown skinned guys deserved far less distinction in terminology, and were simply referred to as "Natives". Today the Asia Society is a vestige of this despicable past.

Multi polar world with more countries above 100m as population becoming economic powers with high per capita income is the best solution to the present system of dominance by a few.

People seem to see Mr Khisore as pro china but if one really reads deeply into all his books, he is actually talking sense and he is a real brave soul writing all his books with no fear

A western guy / host that is fair will NOT be given the job by any western institution to interview on behalf of the Asia Society.
A western host will have to be bias to please the western crowds.
Kishore knows his stuffs.
