This chase video documents our viewpoint arriving on the Pilger, Nebraska EF4 twin tornadoes that occurred on June 16, 2014. We witnessed the life cycle of the twin EF-4's and then the complete life cycle of a rope tornado and a wedge tornado that would become the Wakefield, NE EF-4.

Thank you for not yelling and screaming during your video. Great footage.

it's cool how the sequence at 24:30 was worked on by multiple spotters to determine an estimated speed of the tornado. The small one was flung around the larger one at roughly 90mph

Terrific video without all the "Reed Timmer" Yelling and Theatrics. Great job. 👍👍

That bolt of lightning was epic when the satellite tornado crossed the big one before roping out

I spotted formations, b4 the tornado 🌪️ that hit Chicago's far northside, 2020 season. Decent footage of the tornado 🌪️ as it leaves the hood, and heads over the lake. I spotted many cloud rotations to my south and north. NWS later confirmed my own sightings. I was pleased. No loss of life. Trees down, cars damaged. Roofs. Etc. No one Injured.

What's crazy is that satellite tornado at 24:20 ended up being estimated that it was moving around that other tornado around 90 mph. That's an incredible speed for a tornado.

also loved seeing Chris who was with Reeds group. He deserved to be treated better then how Reed belittled him! Good on you Chris.. hope to see more of you one day!!!

I’ve never chased but be so goddamn pissed if I beat you to the storm and then you pull up in my shot like that in the beginning.

I have been in a tornado and I find this footage very scary. I can still hear it and have seen straw driven into wood telephone poles driven through houses. But I like to see how they move and what they look like ! When your in the base ment you don't know whats coming at you this was before any movies or people out filming these things are alive and cause so much damage all I could do is hide and listen. But I really like to watch them . you do such a great job. Maybe to close for me. Just close my eyes be safe theres more summer. Thank You!!

So... why in hell would you drive INTO a rain-wrapped wedge formation with high probability for satellite tornadoes (considering by this timeline in this particular storm, it had already had multiple satellite tornadoes)? You could have been seriously injured being in the Rear-Flanking Downdraft and ultimately ended up in the Rear-Inflow Jet of that EF-4. I'm glad you weren't hurt.

I'd go to Skip Talbot's channel and learn a few things about safety regarding storm chasing and tornado spotting:

The footage you got was pretty good, but I'm not sure its worth the risk of personal injury and/or fatalities to get footage of any tornado.

Only Mother Nature could produce something so menacing and yet so beautiful at the same time.
