How to Vinyl Wrap your Motorbike Panniers

With pillion passengers often catching the top of the expensive BMW Panniers with their boots when they dismount, a number of die cut vinyl suppliers produce protective film to apply yourself. By it's very nature the vinyl is thin and regularly needs replacing. However it can be expensive so this method means you can cut your own for very little outlay in any colour or effect that you want. So cheap that you can now replace anytime!

Glad I ran across your video. I’ve got to do the same thing. You gave me the confidence I needed. One question. What kind of paper did you use to make the template? The panniers I’m doing are aluminum with some plastic corners with tie downs to go around.

Could also use cutting tape on the pannier to get the shape

i have seen several video on wrapping the motorbike or car, very few use soapy water. most of them don't, any reason why - use it or not to use soapy water? thinking of wrapping my motorbike.
