In a weird way, I wonder if Huerter coming off as the "sixth man" will boost his confidence. There is no shame in losing a starting rotation spot to Monk and we all know how much Mike Brown values the sixth man role. It simultaneously gives Huerter a place to focus and know how he can contribute while taking off the pressure to be a starter.

Isaac jones has dunked over wemby, blocked steven adams, and done a few other things that make me think keegan should be at 3, and isaac at 4/5 with sabonis. Let sabonis shoot those open 3s cuz teams don't wanna guard him; he can make em so let him.

I would love to see the Kings be like the Mavs of last year and make a trade or two at deadline and come on strong in the second half of the season.

Jae crowder did a lot. He is the reason jabari or dillon the villain didn't try anything more than they did. Always need an enforcer presence.

Fox lit the fuse at the end of the 2nd quarter and Demar put the nail in the coffin for the Rockets in the 3rd!

I get off of work at 9pm so I always watch the games on my dvr after they’ve already finished and I seriously contemplated not watching this one because I expected an ass whooping. I will also happily admit I was wrong! This is the first time all season that everyone played relatively well, other than Crowder cause I don’t remember him doing anything. But I’m really starting to like Isaac Jones! I love that he battles in the paint and finishes above the rim. Hopefully this really who he is and he can keep it up. I’m also glad coach didn’t play Keon Ellis. You can tell me he’s a defensive stopper all you want but I don’t feel he stops players nearly enough to justify the amount of minutes he gets. And even more than that he is super passive on offense and doesn’t take wide open shots. This team needs aggression not more players who are afraid to take a shot. Oh and the whistles FINALLY went in our favor!!

Murray and hureter combined for 26 points that's why we won simple as that

Best play of the run was Brooks trying to go to the hoop and a hard foul (to his grill) by Crowder. The rotations made more sense as well, and I think the flow had more to do with the Ellis not playing than anything. Now if they string 3 or 4 wins like this in a row they could become something

Isaac jones and Trey Lyles can coexist…Alex Len is just a locker room presence guy at this point

He is probably their best on ball defender, and he's still a young player. Who would you replace him with

Moving Monk into the starting 5 and making him the primary facilitator is way overdue. I love Fox, but he's sloppy with his passing. Too many turnovers from him. Monk is much more crisp with his facilitation, especially in pnr situations with Sabonis.

What I really like about this game was the amount of open 3s the Kings gave up. For once, the opposing team weren't given a lot of open 3s. Yes there were some, but not as many as in other games. Also, the Kings did a great job of fighting through screens and not switching on weak screens.

Fantastic w team showed way more fight and effort plus shots were going down but let’s hope this play is what is the norm moving forward

Great win to stop a slide. Isaac jones energy and athleticism is so needed. A finisher above the rim AKA lob threat. Red velvet as a 6th man with ellis, issac, jae/lyles, len/robinson is a solid bench IMO. If coach plays ppl at their natural positions lmao.

Lets see how this tight lineup fares against other teams. I am betting it wont stay the same. Keon got no mins, but Keon can make or break games sometimes

If the Kings ca really commit to guarding the 3 and keeping turnovers low, they will be good, the rest will take care of itself!

Keegan is a role player yup. He's literally the 5th option. Fox, monk, derozan, sabonis, keegan. So lets not beat dude up for not scoring 25 every night.

We got the W, however the defense still was leaving open 3s. Too much help and collapsing the paint leaves corner and wing 3s too open. IDK if its a quasi zone scheme or just cheating on the weak side leaving your man; but gah 3 is more than 2.

Kings looked great in spite of Mike Brown. Sign Jones, play Keon, lets the players and assistant coaches make the choices about how to address things. Mike is a motivator but not a technician and his mentality is out dated. At this point he just gets in the way.
