I visited the city in the 2021 dec. Really the city has a vibes. Well planned and clean city. I enjoyed staying there.

I studied and grew up here from 1960 to mid 1980. I have home here but now live in Canada. During 1960's there was no Mohali and Panchkula and south end of chandigarh was sector 20 and beyond that were villages and farms. There were few cars, most people conveyance was cycle. During that time there was no pollution, and was not congested like it is today.

that was a sukhna lake in the begining and its parking area across the road... i have done schooling from there and a punjabi too.. now it has now become sort of congested. it was indias first prime minister pt, nehru ji's vision that chandigarh came in to being as a capital of punjab, (now haryana too), since its original capital lahore went to pakistan after partition. come enjoy d city beautiful.

This is beautiful city, in fact other MC must learn from it. Designed & built by French architect. If compare with other 4 metro cities, Chandigarh is best.

I visited two months back. You missed the Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Elante Mall. Such a beautiful city it is. Will visit again soon. Lovely city. Loved Sector 17 underpass where everyone performs different activities.
