Sometimes a wrestler can appear to have all the qualities required to be a star in theory but once put into practise, something is missing, and this stops them from ever truly getting over. It’s happened with a wide range of performers throughout history, but who are the most notable examples of these people in WWE today? I can't entirely agree with Corbin. He's not a main eventer, but he's been solid in all the characters he's played. He's credible enough to be a foil for better wrestlers.

The thing wit Karrion Kross is that WWE never put him in a meaningful feud his entire main roster run... The best they did for him was tease a potential feud wit Roman Reigns when he interfered in Roman's match at the beginning of his 2nd run but they never gave the feud a chance, it just disappeared

Shayna's loss to Becky at Wrestlemania in 2020 after getting booked like a beast in NXT and dominating the Elimination Chamber completely killed any chance she had on the main roster.

Vince killed Baron Corbin. He finally got over with the bum gimmick, and then Vince got the "Happy" gimmick idea (WTF was that? 🤨) and killed all the momentum he organically gained.

Shayna has more charisma IRL than she does in the ring, they need to drop these stupid gimmicks and just let her be herself (and for gods sake get rid of the awful eye makeup). She shouldn't be a heel, she should be a solid midcard athletic babyface like Shelton Benjamin in the 2000s

Kross is a true testament to losing lot of matches but always winning the feuds. Look at Lashley, Moss, Gulak. They're released. McIntyre, Styles & Nakamura are heels

Sadly, I can't even defend most of these because the only act I actually liked on the list was Shayna Baszler. She is the female Brock Lesnar, the only legitimate female shoot threat outside of maybe Nia Jax and she has the chops and charisma to play a long term champion as seen in NXT. She is everything they wanted out of Ronda Rousey except she can actually work and cut a promo. If creative can't do anything with that, it says more about them than her. I have little hope for anybody else because they're not even over with me.
