Fårö - When Nature Creates Art

Island of Fårö is a destination for many tourists each year - but I got the chance to experience sights solely to myself during my trip in February - and it is stunning. Hope this can inspire to make a visit to the island Ingmar Bergman fell in love with.

To get to Fårö you need to either fly or take the ferry to Visby. I suggest renting a vehicle getting to Fårö. Once on Fårö take the main road until exit of Langhammars just past Bergman center. From there go with the scenic route by the water to be able to visit the picturesque fishing camp of Helgumannen, stop at Digerhuvud Rauk Area and continue down past Lauters to make a left exit for Gamle Hamn Rauk Area.
