Hello Barry and Randy;
Really enjoyed both Parts 1 & 2 of this project. Really interesting to see how it all works! That organ would NOT fit in my living room unfortunately, ..but I am sure the sound will be nothing short of fantastic. Hopefully we will see a video of it when finished and in performance here on youtube! Budget does not allow me to buy a brand new instrument, so I would have to find a pre-owned Allen organ, ...it would be a much older model, but not too old, ..maybe a mid 1990's MDS or Protege organ!

Keep the great videos coming!
Thank You

If won the Powerball I would commission Allen to build me the exact replica of the Wanamaker organ I wonder what that would cost? but it would be totally AWESOME

As I said before, it certainly beats the old Hammond organs cold!

I never liked the Hammond's sound...just didn't remind me of an actual pipe sound...which is fascinating about this beast...and those tone generators.   Fascinating...

I totally understand most of what is going on...except for those tone generators of course...and how that tone gets generated, how the sound is created...an oscillator of course, but...conditioning circuitry...buzz, whistles, peeps, grunts, fuzz, honks, shrieks, moans,  (grins)...etc. made to sound like organ pipes...after amplification...or used to start a wind up an actual organ pipe...

And, I'm not trying to start a "Garage Organ Business" either...grins...just VERY interested!  I was surprised to learn you make your own boards and chassis there (proprietary of course)...ALLEN name everywhere!   Were I not an sexy octogenarian now (read - dirty old gurl), I'd love to work there (free..no wage necessary!!!  Just to watch and be a part of that whole creative process!).

Just wondering if you make organ pipes too (probably not - its electronic, dummy!)...had seen that process...made my own circuit boards too...tho no longer do that.

That Pittsburgh PA (Hey, I grew up in that area!) Church kind of reminds me of the Large Cathedral Spaces...with pipes located EVERYWHERE...both ends of the nave...or the apse...grins

I saw somewhere that you actually had Diane Bish playing an ALLEN Organ!   They Have to be good!   I do wish Virgil Fox was still with us...sighs (Loved that crusty old bird!) and his commentary and style of play Particularly on the Wannamaker at the Macy's  in Philly - tho I never experienced that personally - except online here!).
