I sold my 1972 XJ6 to my maids husband. I heard he painted it white and restored. For all I know this the same car. I lived in Coral Springs when I sold it in like 1988? Fla. Nice job. Oh yeah. Same exact engine to.
I read the posts that said it's sacrilege to have changed the engine to a GM. The engine was totaled and needed so much work. I remember we barely got that engine to fit in there.

I watched it in awe, then I seen the carbuncle under the bonnet.

One of best cars ever built and to drive.

Nicely done conversion, much difference in economy and performance or was it done for reliability? Still the straight 6 is a tough unit also

Why not a Jag V8 engine, far more refined.

Nice series 1 Jag but shame about the engine should have left the original engine in

A very beautiful car. But my dearest chaps, modifying an old Jaguar is a sacrilege.

The Car is Completely Ruined ... Your better off pulling that crappy GM motor out and sell the Car for Parts, or Put the Jag 6 back in.. Other than that the Car is worthless..😥
