On the positive side, packages stuck in warehouses means less porch robberies.

Good for them. These folks work their butts off, under unacceptable conditions, and Bezos treats them like garbage. I live in SF and depend on Amazon too often, but I’m happy to take a break from them until these folks get a good deal. And yes, it IS incredibly expensive to live here. There’s no way to pay $4, 000 a month rent (mine’s $5, 120) on the $45, 000 a year that worker makes…not if you need to eat too.

If i knew...would not buy gifts via amazon.
Workers wait to punish last minute shoppers....is that fair?

If you think you deserve a house, you wouldn’t work at Amazon, or you would try to build a side business and try to become an entrepreneur. This is the way to show your dignity and esteem.

And this is why corporations will replace people with robots

Not sure if the majority of those kind of AMZN jobs were designed to buy a house in SF.

Bezos: "We're gonna need a lot more robots."
Temu: "Oh yes, the Christmas present we've been waiting for!"
M Saylor: "Buy Bitcoin"

Hope they reach an agreement soon. Striking right before and after the New Year, away from family, while delaying business for everyone else... not the smartest move.

I hope they get what they are requesting. Amazon has a huge profit margin and the workers work extremely hard. Merry Christmas and keep pushing ❤🎄🎁

That guy needs to understand his employer is not a charity. They are not responsible for how you live your life. You trade increments of your time for pay. You are paid according to what you can provide to the employer. A piece of meat moving boxes is only that.

He get paid 23 and when union comes in let’s say you’ll get paid 25 and the union fee will be higher than the 2 dollar that’s added to your wage😂😂😂I guess the winner will be the union😂😂

I use to work there as a warehouse associate my time was 4pm to 1030 my primary job was putting the tote bags back in cages if i remember correctly they had 58 aisles 30 slots each it was hard work its better with 3 or 4 people after that then we debrief the van drivers when they come back after shift to the warehouse

Then there's the night shift where they prepare packages for the amazon flex drivers
Then after they finish which is probably 430 then another shift comes in and prepares package for the van drivers

One of van drivers had a crush on me i wish we really got to know each other but you were probably playing and had a bf but i remember your name I'll just say you're name is shortie k
