Your behind the scenes info about television production is incredibly eye opening.
Makes me see things in a different way.

This actually blew my mind watching this. The intense amount of coordination between everyone was mind boggling. Can't even try to think of a pun

Thank you for commending the BG. Our contribution is so often overlooked or looked down on.

If making a scene was an Olympic sport.
This choreography would have won gold.

My favorite is the guy whose job it is to make sure steadycam operator has a clear path. Its one of the things I find incredible during long shots

I was so impressed with that boom operator. There’s so much more to the job than simply pointing the mic.

wooo!!! Thank you for the BG shout-out. It takes long days for all departments AND hard work. It's so fun and such a passion it felt surreal being on set for seasons of shows.

Silently, you slipped that pun in right at the end. And just like the extras, you tripped the listener up by thinking there wasn't one.

If you ever make it to Hollywood, you can go on Hollywood boulevard and they will drive you down to the movie sets, and you can watch the filming in action, and sometimes be part of it as a background character. I've done it a bunch of times. Everything is as he says, while it looks chaotic, it's actually as quiet as it can be. Everybody is faking talking. Everybody is faking yelling. Everybody is faking clapping, there's no noise. It's really weird to be in an audience jumping up and down and cheering and waving your arms and shouting at the band and pumping your fist, while everybody is silent. It's just weird. But, it's fun!

You should do a video about the different jobs on a film crew: gaffer, best boy, boom operator, and so on.

I feel you, we once shot a 17 minute low budget no cut controlled chaos and it was wild because we got non actors to play the whole scene!!! Because one mistake can make the production lose thousands of funds. For the 1st time in my life as a crew, we had to multitask to support all roles, we are the actors, assistant directors, wardrobe, fx, makeup, crowd control, i don't want to remember dropping a $5000 camera while assisting the cameraman (camera lens did not survive), broke expensive lights too kicking it while running with the cameraman, so traumatic and fun at the same time i wanna do it again 😂 all in 1 take so proud of that crew

Extra credit indeed. Good extras, especially that many to not only to make that buildup of suspense but also do a great job of moving naturally out of the path of the camera Op’s. Thank you so much for sharing this!

A realistic rendition of what happens when Scott doesn't end his video with a pun

I'm currently watching this show for the first time and I'm continually impressed with the scope of it for a TV show. A tonne of really impressive locations, set pieces, action sequences.

The right extras can make or break a scene.
