Αγία Παρασκευή Μάνδρας Θέρμου Saint Paraskevi Mandra,Thermo

Βρισκεται 3 χιλιομετρα βορειοανατολικα του Θερμου σε οροπεδιο με πανοραμικη θεση και κατα τη διαρκεια του Αγωνα ηταν το πολιτικο και στρατιωτικο κεντρο της περιοχης.Το καθολικο ανακαινιστηκε το 1831 κατοπιν καταστροφης απ τους Οθωμανους το 1825 ενω δυο εικονες του τεμπλου εχουν την ενδειξη 1711 που παραπεμπει στο οτι η Μονη προϋπήρχε.Η μονή συνδεεται με θαυμα της Αγιας το 1918 οταν το Θερμο απελευθερώθηκε από τη γρίπη. Στη τελευταια φωτογραφια η αναπαρασταση με κερινα ομοιώματα του Κρυφού Σχολειού που λειτουργουσε εκει κατα την Οθωμανικη Περιοδο. Η μονη πανηγυρίζει στις 26 Ιουλιου

It is located 3 km northeast of Thermo on a plateau with a panoramic position and during the Revolution it was the political and military center of the area.The katholikon(central temple of the Monastery) was renovated in 1831 after being destroyed by the Ottomans in 1825 while two icons of the iconostasis have the indication 1711 which indicates that the monastery pre-existed. The monastery is associated with a miracle of the Saint in 1918 when Thermo was released from the flu. In the last photo the representation with wax figures of the Hidden School that operated there during the Ottoman Period. The monastery celebrates on July 26
