when I started watching boxing 13 years ago HBO was synonymous with boxing, Larry, Jim, Emanuel, George, Roy, Ledderman and then Max. Its really sad to see them go but all good things come to an end

For my generation this man is the voice of boxing his knowledge of the sport and the emotion that he showed throughout his broadcast was the very best of boxing analysts. I will miss HBO and Jim max Roy gorge there voice there collective knowledge made boxing special truly the end of a historic era

Jim Lampley is the greatest Boxing Play-play or blow by blow announcer ever!! I loved Barry thompkins because he was the first guy I really listened to but Jim brought it to a new level with his knowledge and just the way he articulated himself and described the action!! Hats off jim & hope top see you somewhere else calling boxing!!!

Even though Jim & Larry don't know the sport all the way you can tell how much passion they have for it that's what makes them different I personally going to miss them.

Jim Lampley is by far the most astute, most educated and the bravest boxing commentator that ever appeared on television. His passion for the sport of boxing is undeniable and the love of all the boxers is unquestionable. While letting others go completely HBO will keep Jim is some other capacity and I'm glad but HBO won't keep me from continued subscription.
No boxing = No HBO. Period
